They act as the United States representative for major equipment manufacturers, recycling companies, and processing solution groups. This association helps us to lower costs and increase returns for waste producers.

In 2015 Gratiam organized a 1.1 million pounds of waste by-product “MLC” that would have been landfilled otherwise through a joint venture with Network Recycling Inc (NRI) and Elemet. This collaborative approach helped NRI, Inc. and Elemet to create a recycling solution for BSI a major battery recycling company in the United States. This increased their process from 75% partial recovery to 100% complete recycling meeting the European “WEE” standards for electronics recycling, while producing two new products from the discarded by-products.

NRI

Take advantage of the working partnership we offer through NRI, and see what a difference their significant network of reclaiming and recycling facilities can make. They have more than 25 years of experience to draw on, as well as an ability to deal with a broad array of metal bearing by-products.

Through this partnership, we can identify any materials you are producing that have direct recycling applications. We may find that other materials require a certain amount of blending to create an acceptable feedstock for other facilities.

Through our association with Elemet in Hudson, New York, and our network of relationships with groups throughout the United States, we are able to safely handle serious amounts of waste materials on both sides of the 49th parallel. This capability includes, but is not limited to zinc and copper products, and catalyst recycling.

Coarc Ecycle

This proven partner is the third-largest employer in Columbia County, New York, and they are making a difference for those with disabilities. This partnership led to collaboration with Elemet and their subsidiary Mr. E-waste for electronics recycling. As a chapter of the NYARC system in New York State, this group provides structured technical and marketing advice through an EHS approach.

Our approach allowed these two groups to put a number of deserving people with disabilities to work in a noble cause. This joint venture between Elemet and Coarc brought about an R2 certification and a leading-edge shredding system. The resulting safe and viable electronics recycling program expanded their capacity from 300k pounds annually to ten million pounds annually. Our method and the new system will take Coarc out of the scrap in, scrap out items. This solution will result in scrap in commodities out.
